Senior Architect

Our client has over 50 years in the design, engineering and project management business. Since the company's conception in the 50's their design arm have continued to be recognised through their excellent work undertaken in sectors covering Defence,Education, Healthcare, law & order, nuclear, science & technology, transport, and waste & energy.
The client has an excellent reputation in the Science & Technology sector and are seeing year on year growth, and thus now require a qualified Architect to join the existing team, to design and project manage R&D Laboratory projects.
The client would like an Architect at Senior level, someone who has a first class track record of working on Laboratory projects across the UK. You must be able to^exhibit a very good design flair, coupled to an excellent understanding of the intricacies of managing an R&D project.
As an Architect, you will ideally have 5 years PQE, with a background in R&D projects, managing them from initial design, right through to handover on site. You will also need to have experience of managing a team of staff, ranging from other Architects to Technicians and Architectural Assistants.
You will be required to visit projects on site and provide feedback on the^progress, and deal with problems as and when they arise. It is also a pre-requisite that you are conversant with AutoCAD, and can produce work using this piece software.
