Our client is one of the leading, independent and multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering partnerships in the UK. With a 300-strong workforce, they provide a comprehensive range of engineering, architectural and construction management services, from concept and feasibility studies through all stages of design, to site supervision, project management, cost control & commissioning. Single or multi-disciplinary teams are assigned to meet client and project requirements.

The client has^an Architectural project history in health, education, industry, defence, central and local government, leisure, private development, retail and financial services.

It draws upon a vast bank of skills from among its expert staff including architecture, water and public health engineering, structural engineering, environmental consultancy, building and land surveying, building services engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, building facilities, auditing and quantity surveying.

The company is currently developing the Architecture division in their Derby office and require a Senior Architect to join the team. This Architectural position will cover all aspects of an Architects role from initial concept design through to handover on site. You will be asked to manage a team, the number is dependent on the type and size of project you will be running.

Our client requires an Architect with a minimum of 10 years PQE, with a demonstrable track record in all or some of the above projects.
As a Senior Architect, it would be ideal if you were in a similar role, or aspiring to a Senior Architects position. You must be able to communicate at all levels both written and verbally, have the confidence to manage teams, chair meetingsand deal with clients on a one to one basis. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is a must and you must be able to show dedication and commitment at all times.

This position offers a starting salary of up to £45,000 per annum and comes with agreat opportunity for an Associateship in a very space of time. The company believes in people development, so ongoing training will be given to develop your weaknesses into strengths.
